Domaine de la Bretonnière Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie 2021
This fabulous white wine from the Western end of the Loire Valley in France is made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape. Muscadet Sèvre et Maine is the largest and most important region for high quality Muscadet.
It is a light, dry white wine with a complex nose and a palate of green apple, melon, citrus and lots of minerality.
This wine has been ‘aged on the lees’ which is the process of ageing the wine without filtering the yeast. This creates a fuller bodied wine, with a richer and creamier taste.
This wine is perfectly paired with fish, shellfish, chicken, Brie and garlic!
