YALBURY COTTAGE BREAKFAST

GOOD MORNING!

Situated in the oldest part of the cottage, the restaurant is full of character with oak-beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces and exposed stone walls.

We believe that breakfast is the best meal of the day and have created a great menu for you to choose from.

Try one of Jamie’s legendary full Dorset breakfasts or opt for a smaller selection of the “big one”…. Everything  is served with eggs of your choice, fried, poached or scrambled. Jamie will cook everything fresh to order and you can enjoy some delicious fruit and yoghurt or cereals whilst your breakfast is being prepared. Of course there is juice and as much tea and coffee as you like.

The best way to start the day whether you are working or are planning to explore the glorious Dorset Countryside.

Breakfast is served between 8.00 and 9.30AM, but we can be flexible if required.

CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST £10.00

Start with cereal and/or fruit followed by our choice of White, brown toast or gluten free toast (vegan) Toasted Brioche bread, freshly baked Croissant)

 

EGGS, EGGS, EGGS… £12.00

Omelette cooked with your choice of cheese, onion and tomato

Scrambled, poached, fried on white or brown toast

Boiled egg with Soldiers

Any “add-ons” like a sausage or bacon charged at £1.00 per item

 

FULL YC BREAKFAST £17.50

Back bacon, local sausage, black and white pudding, flat mushrooms

Cherry vine tomatoes and free range egg

Ask if you would like to add fried bread, baked beans (GF, vegan)

Gluten free sausage or local lamb kidney

 

VEGAN BREAKFAST £12.00

Cherry vine tomatoes, flat mushrooms, golden chickpea fritter

And baked beans, Add-on an egg for £1.00

 

FROM THE SEA £14.50

Smoked salmon served with fluffy scrambled or perfectly poached eggs

Your choice of cereal:

Cornflakes, Special K, Weetabix, Crunchy Nut, Muesli, Oat Granola, Porridge and gluten free flakes made to your liking, with semi skimmed, soya or oat milk.

Your choice of fruit:

Apricots steeped in honey and flavoured with star anise and cinnamon or prunes soaked in apple juice. Served with Dorset Yoghurt

Your choice of bread:

White, brown or gluten free toast (vegan)
Toasted brioche bread or freshly baked croissant (please allow 20 minutes baking time)

Your choice of toppings:

Homemade lemon curd and orange marmalade, strawberry jam, marmite, peanut butter or honey

Oat milk, soy milk and gluten free bread are available
