Jamies & Ariane invitation from the queen...
Jamie and Ariane Jones are the new proud owners of Yalbury Cottage. They have purchased this wonderful hotel from Mark and Roy of Fiddlemont Hotels Ltd who have sold up to buy their dream house in North Dorset, away from hotel life. Mark and Roy have left behind them a great legacy in Yalbury Cottage, which Jamie and Ariane are very excited to be taking over. Together, Jamie and Ariane bring with them 45 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in some of the worlds leading hotels. Ariane is from the North West of Germany, and Jamie is a Brit from Lancing in West Sussex, they have two children Nikolas and Lara, who are thrilled with their new home and busy enjoying the glorious Dorset countryside! For the past 12 years Jamie has worked for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in London, Maldives, Cairo and Hampshire as Executive Chef. In June 2007 Jamie decided it was time to follow his dream and left Four Seasons to open his own hotel, Yalbury cottage…. |

bedrooms We have eight spacious rooms, in the modern part of the building, decorated in a simple cottage style. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, a direct dial telephone, a television with built-in DVD player, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We also have a free DVD library so you can relax with a favourite film after dinner. |
